Goodbye to wonderful Iana πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œIt has been an absolute pleasure having Iana here with us and we are all so sad to say goodbye.Iana is moving overseas, and we wish her the most amazing future with her family.Hoping you can return for a 'goodbye celebration' at some point when the world gets back to normal. πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‚We really do wish you all the best from all of us here xxThank you to @flowerboxstalbans for the most beautiful bunch of purple flowers πŸ’œπŸ’πŸ’œπŸ’πŸ’œπŸ’πŸ’œπŸ’ delivered on Iana's last day.Maria has spent the last few days with Iana and her patients, and treats in a very similar way due to the European teaching she has had. Maria will be taking care of Iana's patients and all the new babies and children, and everyone else who really loves that combination of cranial, visceral and structural osteopathy. She starts in clinic this Saturday πŸ’œπŸ’œStay safe Iana, we miss you already πŸ’—#goodbye #flowers #osteopathyworks #mums #babies #cranial #craniosacral #stalbans #shoplocal #pgpistreatable #mums #osteopathy #iloveosteopathy #womenshealth #womensupportingwomen ... Our super lovely, fab new Osteopath, Maria, joins us next week. She is a cranial osteopath taking over from Iana who is leaving us this week to move overseas. We've had lots of fun in clinic today, and actually many of our patients have already met Maria today πŸ’œπŸ’œ She has even met some of our much tinier patients!! She is in most of this week shadowing, so please say hi! 😊Maria is a cranial, visceral and structural Osteopath just like Iana. She treats babies, children and adults cranially. Plus with adults she can treat using structural, visceral and cranial techniques depending on the needs of the patient."Hi everyone, I'm Maria πŸ‘‹πŸ»My passion is the treatment of mothers and babies. During pregnancy I generally treat low back pain, sciatica, headaches and nausea and support weak bladder. For new mums I treat postnatal pelvic girdle dysfunction and other complaints such as mastitis. I love treating mums with their babies in the same session. With the compression and tension associated with birth, new-borns especially benefit from and respond to osteopathy which supports them in their early growth and development.I offer full neurological screening and general check-ups and advice as well as seeing many infant condions such as tongue tie , head shape changes and tummy issues.I have experience treating adults and the elderly with common musculoskeletal complaints, such as back pain, hip and shoulder pain, neck pain and migraines. I like to help you to understand your ailments in order to promote sustainable rehabilitation.I have a patient-centred approach with a focus on compassion and empathy and a range of techniques such as cranial sacral, soft tissue, structural, blading, taping and modern acupuncture.Really looking forward to meeting you all!!" πŸ˜πŸ’œπŸ’•πŸ˜Maria is available to book now, through our online bookings system, or email Yvette admin@hertsosteopathy.co.uk#cranial #craniosacral #babies #newmumgetstrong #pregnancy #postnatal #pgp #pgpistreatable #newmum #pregnancy #stalbans #stalbansmums #sciatica #headaches #acupuncture #happy #iloveosteopathy #osteopathyworks #osteopathy #smile #rehab #postnatalcheck #mumandbaby #fourthtrimester ... I feel like I have gained so much from it already despite not having given birth yet! The relaxation techniques, birth affirmations and just the whole approach in general have really helped to change my mindset about labour and birth and it’s now something I’m (almost!) looking forward to rather than dreading. I wasn’t expecting the course to be as informative about what to expect during the whole process of labour either, from start to finish.I really appreciate your positive, calm and reassuring yet realistic way of explaining it all." #zoomclasses #zoompilatesFANCY JOINING IN??? πŸ’•πŸ’•Lovely comments... Everyone so pleased to be back doing Joanna Michaelides' pilates classes on zoom.We had a few people tentative about starting zoom classes, unsure as to how they would work, being nervous about being on screen, or the technical side of it. Also concerns that we are not able to check form and technique properly. However, this is far from the case, and in fact, pilates through zoom has so many wonderful positives... Not least, that you can stay in your warm cosy home instead of having to leave the house on a cold wet wintery night!!! We have had lots of positive comments from the ladies on this class. The class sizes are kept small so Joanna can check exactly what you are all doing, and can give cues and pointers easily to help everyone. As long as you place your phone /tablet /laptop in the right place πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚The class is prescriptive to the needs of those in the group due to the small class size, and it really is such a lovely hour to look forward to every week. Full of smiles. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œJoanna's beginners /mixed level pilates class 7.30pm - 8.30pm every Tuesday. She absolutely loves teaching these classes, and this just shines from her approach and warmth.Joanna has fulfilled many hours extra training into women's health, through pregnancy, postnatal and particularly peri and post menopausal. So she has tons of knowledge on the best way to achieve what you want from pilates through these different stages of our lives!!!Give yourself the hour of #selfcare that you really need. πŸ’œπŸ’œWe have one or two spaces left, so give us a shout if you want to get booked on.
