Jo Day is fantastic! I was suffering so much this pregnancy with SPD and really thought nothing could be done. And a chance recommendation from a friend led me to Jo who made my pregnancy so much less painful and I was able to say goodbye to my crutches and support belt! Can’t recommend Jo highly enough.
“I went to the amazing [Hayley at] Herts Osteopathy to get my ribs checked and put back together!
…It was quickly discovered that my 2nd and 3rd ribs were locked up, there was inflammation at my costochondral joint and the pectoral muscle was tight too. This was soon all sorted by a bit of manipulation….. It’s great knowing that everything is now where it should be and should mean tapering and the race is more comfortable. I may well be back at Herts Osteopathy to be put back together after the ultra!
In all seriousness they are brilliant, they fixed me after the Edinburgh marathon, before Berlin last year and now again before the Fortitude 50. If you are in need of an osteopath in Hertfordshire, you need look no further!”
I’ve been seeing Jo regularly for a while now since being pregnant with my second child and can honestly say that she is AMAZING! The back painI had during the pregnancy had been keeping me awake at night and she managed to alleviate it so I could enjoy my pregnancy again. She managed to make my hips feel comfortable and eased all the discomfort in my pelvis without causing any distress to me or the baby. I cannot recommend her enough.
I had my son 8 weeks ago via c section and started seeing her again after 3 weeks to make sure the scar area was healing properly and my muscles were fusing back together.
I am now having one to one pilates classes with her and can already feel a difference to my core. Thank you Jo!
I just want to give a shout out to Herts Osteopathy. After having two babies in two years I thought my body was simply knackered but they got me back on track and I’m so glad I saw them…… They did wonders for me in just a couple of sessions and they’re not expensive. Give yourselves some TLC! Hayley is the bee’s knees!
